Yellow from the 1st Special Forces Group (Airborne)

Red from the 7th Special Forces Group (Airborne)

Black from the 5th Special Forces Group (Airborne)

White from  Special Forces Training Group Group (Airborne)

Beret Flash Description:

A shield-shaped embroidered item with a semicircular base, 1 7/8 inches
(4.76cm) in width and 2 1/4 inches (5.72cm) in height overall, divided
quarterly, the upper left quarter yellow, the upper right quarter scarlet, the
lower left quarter white and lower right quarter black, all within a
1/8 inch (.32cm) black border.
The beret flash was approved 20 March 1989.

Background Trimming Description:
Oval Description: An oval-shaped embroidered item, 1 3/8 inches (3.49cm)
in height and 2 1/4 inches (5.72cm) in width overall, divided quarterly, the upper quarter yellow, the upper right quarter scarlet, the lower left quarter white and the lower right quarter black, all within a 1/8 inch (.32cm) black border.
The background trimming was approved on 20 March 1989.
