A shield-shaped embroidered item with a semi-circular base 2 1/4 inches (5.72 cm) in height and 1 7/8 inches (4.76 cm) in width overall and edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) Bluebird border, per bend sinister Scarlet and Ultramarine Blue, in dexter three mullets, two and one Argent.   The beret flash was approved on 29 July 2010.  (TIOH Dwg. The beret flash was originally approved for the U.S. Army Airborne
Board on 12 Feb 1981. It was redesignated for the Test and Experimentation Command, Airborne and Special Operations
Test Board on 12 Sep 1990. On 3 Aug 1999 it was redesignated
for the U.S. Army Operational Test Command, Airborne
and Special Operations Test Directorate.

Background Trimming Description

height and 2 1/4 inches (5.72cm) in width overall, edged with a

The beret flash was approved on 27 Aug 1981.

1/8 inch (.32cm) yellow border, on which is a black inner oval surmounting
