Beret Flash Description

A shield-shaped embroidered item with a semi-circular base 2 1/4 inches (5.72 cm) in height and 1 7/8 inches (4.76 cm) in width overall, divided diagonally from upper left to lower right red over black with a seven pointed star yellow in the upper right side and edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) white border. The beret flash was approved on 30 March 2009. (TIOH Dwg. No. A-4-251)

 

Background Trimming Description
An oval-shaped embroidered item 1 3/8 inches (3.49 cm) in height and 2 1/4 inches (5.72 cm) in width overall, divided diagonally from upper left to lower right red over black with a seven pointed star yellow in the upper right side and edged with a 1/8 inch (.32 cm) white border. vertically scarlet to left and ultramarine blue to right, edged with a 1/8 inch (
.32cm) counterchanged border and surmounted by a white triangle
centered vertically throughout point to base.
The flash was approved on 17 September 1990.


Background Trimming Description

An oval-shaped embroidered item 2 1/4 inches (5.72cm) in width and
1 3/8 inches (3.49cm) in height overall, edged with a 1/8 inch (.32cm) white
border, consisting of a background divided vertically scarlet to left and ultramarine
blue to right, edged with a 1/8 inch (.32cm) counterchanged border and
surmounted by a white triangle centered vertically throughout point to base.
The background trimming was approved 17 September 1990.

The beret flash was approved on 21 March 1988.

The background trimming was approved on 21 March 1988.
